Mt. Gox Transferred a Large Amount of Bitcoin (BTC), Price Dropped!

Mt.Gox, which started Bitcoin refunds in early July, made a test transfer of 0.021 BTC to an unknown address yesterday. A big transfer came today.

According to Arkham data, Mt. Gox transferred 42,587 BTC ($2.85 billion) to an unknown address.

This transfer appears to be part of Mt Gox's ongoing payment of $9 billion worth of Bitcoin to creditors.

Following this transfer, Bitcoin fell below $67,000.

Once one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Mt. Gox filed for bankruptcy in 2014 after being exposed to numerous hacking attacks and stealing approximately 850 thousand BTC.
