It was reported that US President Donald Trump will meet with high-financial power TRUMP memecoin owners from around the world at a private dinner to be held on May 22.
According to The Washington Post, organizers of the dinner strictly prohibited media and photography equipment from entering the event.
Sources close to Trump say the special event offers attendees a chance to influence Trump’s perspective on cryptocurrency industry regulation or gain other benefits. Participants were selected through an application process that ended last Monday, but the vast majority of invited crypto investors were not identified publicly. Many used wallets with unknown sources and difficult to trace funds. Participants are also expected to remain anonymous during the event. One crypto investor said organizers told him that “media and camera equipment are strictly prohibited.”
At least six major TRUMP coin holders have been publicly identified so far. Some have shared invites on social media, while others have disclosed their large purchases with financial documents, while others can be tracked through public but largely anonymous transactions on the blockchain.
