TRON founder Justin Sun has issued a message of support for Binance and its CEO, Changpeng Zhao, who are facing a lawsuit from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Operating unregistered exchanges, brokerages and clearing houses, the SEC filed 13 charges against Binance and Zhao, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, on June 5, 2023; Misrepresenting trading controls and surveillance on the Binance.US platform; and unregistered offering and selling of securities, alleged violations of various securities laws.
In his message, Sun said that he trusted Zhao as his friend and believed in his honesty. He also praised Zhao's dedication, talent and ethical values in advancing the cryptocurrency industry.
Sun said he has full faith in Zhao's capacity to overcome this challenge and will stand by and support him no matter what.
Justin Sun also described Zhao as an honest and virtuous person and expressed his belief that Zhao will handle the case in accordance with legal requirements and take the necessary steps to resolve the issue. Sun added that he believes the truth will prevail and prove Zhao's innocence.

Sun concluded his message by reminding Zhao that he was never alone and that his friends would always be by his side, offering their unwavering support and encouragement. He stated that he believes that justice will be served and that they will face this challenge together.
