Fantom (FTM) Foundation announced that it has established a strategic partnership with Google Cloud. The collaboration aims to launch a series of initiatives that encourage and empower developers to build next-generation decentralized applications (dApps) on Fantom.
According to the official announcement published by the altcoin developers, the partnership will benefit from Google Cloud's secure, scalable and flexible infrastructure, as well as advanced artificial intelligence capabilities.
In addition, Google Cloud will contribute to scaling and securing Fantom's Opera network by operating an authenticator. The company plans to bring this validator to Fantom's new cryptocurrency network, Sonic, in the future.
Michael Kong, a representative from Fantom, said of the partnership:
“We always prioritize taking a developer-first approach, and this latest collaboration is the latest demonstration of using all resources to enhance the ecosystem experience. By partnering with Google Cloud, Fantom developers gain access to additional resources and capabilities, with more coming soon. Fantom with Google Cloud “is poised to create a new paradigm for the capabilities and features of blockchain technology.”
Google Cloud Web3 APAC President Rishi Ramchandani also expressed his views on the partnership. Ramchandani said:
“Google Cloud is committed to scaling the Web3 ecosystem by empowering founders, businesses, and developers with secure infrastructure and cutting-edge AI. Our expanded relationship with Fantom, which includes becoming a validator on its network, builds on this mission by helping its developers build more engaging and meaningful applications.”
