Changpeng Zhao, the founder and former CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, announced that he will launch a new project in his statement on X.
CZ, who did not give much detail about the project, said that the project will not include a new token and will be an educational project. He added that more details will be announced by him soon.
CZ had been going through an extremely quiet period since leaving his position as CEO to Richard Teng due to regulatory pressure from the USA, posting only to celebrate important occasions. However, CZ also said in his separation speech that he would stay away from the crypto money field for a while.
For CZ, who could not leave the United States in accordance with the agreement with the United States, Judge Jones ruled that Zhao must remain within the United States and inform the Court's Pretrial Services before any domestic travel.
Additionally, as part of the conditions, Zhao must surrender his Canadian passport to a third-party custodian appointed by his legal representatives. This guardian will accompany Zhao on any travel that requires identification.
