David Hirsch, head of the Crypto Assets and Cyber Unit at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), announced that he is leaving the agency after almost nine years, according to a post on LinkedIn.
Hirsch joined the SEC as a staff attorney in the Fort Worth Field Office and had the opportunity to work on a variety of complex and challenging investigations during his tenure. Hirsch expressed particular pride in the historic work carried out by the Crypto Assets and Cyber Unit team he had the privilege of leading.
