The mainnet launch date for Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase's Ethereum scaling solution Base Blockchain has been set for August 9.
In addition, the bridge that will allow the assets in Base to migrate to the Ethereum mainnet will be operational today.
“Base's bridging functionality is available today and the mainnet will be available to everyone by August 9,” said Jesse Pollak, chief protocols officer at Coinbase.
