YZi Labs, the investment arm of cryptocurrency exchange Binance, shared the project it recently invested in in its statement.
Accordingly, YZi Labs announced that it has invested in Plume Network to bring Real World Assets to the chain and develop RWAfi.
Plume Network is a fully integrated modular blockchain built specifically for Real World Assets (RWAs). Plume creates an EVM-compatible environment that not only enables the participation of diverse RWAs but also benefits them by connecting them into a composable RWAfi ecosystem.
Plume’s mission is to create blockchain infrastructure tailored to both crypto-native users and institutions. After a successful testnet spanning over 18 million wallets and partnerships with over 180 protocols, Plume aims to not only bring the real world to the chain, but also unleash the full potential of RWAfi by bridging the gap between DeFi and traditional finance.
“At YZi Labs, we invest in projects that leverage blockchain technology to create real-world impact, and Plume is a prime example of this; they bring real-world assets onto the chain to unlock new capital, expand access, and drive adoption. By making RWAs as frictionless as other digital assets, Plume bridges the gap between traditional finance and DeFi, paving the way for broader adoption. We’re excited to support them as they advance the RWAfi ecosystem,” said Max Coniglio, Chief Investment Officer at YZi Labs.
Following the news, the PLUME price started to rise.
