The new management team of the sunken cryptocurrency exchange FTX, which is not currently in operation, made an urgent notification to its users. The deadline for users who still have assets on the exchange to submit their claims is fast approaching.
The deadline to submit a compensation claim is September 29, 2023, at 16:00 ET (23:00 Turkish time). Users who have not yet initiated the claims process are advised to do so immediately via the FTX Leads Portal.
In addition, users were asked by FTX management to initiate the Know Your Customer (KYC) process. However, having KYC verified status is not a prerequisite for making a request from the exchange.
It is known that the new management has plans to restart the bankrupt stock market. The plan to relaunch a new version of FTX Group could be implemented as soon as next year, bringing renewed activity to a market that has been largely stagnant since the platform's collapse.
According to a statement made in the Delaware court, FTX ownership has contacted more than 75 buyers since May to try to gauge the industry's interest in the relaunch of the exchange.
