Burn amounts for Terra Classic (LUNC) have been announced. According to the latest data, the amount of LUNC burned in the past seven days was approximately 73 million.
When the last month's data is analyzed, it is seen that a total of 201 million LUNCs were sent to their burning addresses.
The Terra Classic price is trading at $0.00006337 at the time of writing, and based on this price, the total amount of LUNC burned this month corresponds to a very low amount of $ 12.000.
On a weekly basis, approximately $4,626 LUNC tokens were burned.
The maximum supply of Terra (LUNA), the original token founded by Do Kwon, was approximately 350 million LUNA. Based on current combustion data, it would take another 28,931 monthly burns, or 2410 years, for LUNC to reach pre-collapse LUNA supply.
During the Terra crash in May 2022, the cryptocurrency company Terraform Labs, led by Do Kwon, minted trillions of LUNA tokens in order to keep the UST token stable at $1, causing the price to nearly zero.
