Ripple (XRP), one of the most talked about cryptocurrencies of recent times, has indeed made a serious attack and is being traded at $2.05 at the time of writing.
The altcoin last reached this level in 2018 and is on track for a new all-time high of $3.84.
The reason for the rise is thought to be the change in SEC management after Donald Trump was elected President of the United States and the intense pressure on cryptocurrencies will end. On the other hand, XRP has been among the most suppressed until now due to a years-long lawsuit with the SEC.
With the recent surge, XRP's total market cap has surpassed Solana, making it the third-largest cryptocurrency in the world when stablecoins are excluded.
