HashKey Exchange, Hong Kong's licensed cryptocurrency exchange, announced that it has listed the Cosmos (ATOM) altcoin.
HashKey Exchange Announces Listing of Cosmos (ATOM)
Cosmos (ATOM), a project focused on creating an interoperable blockchain network, was founded in 2014 by Ethan Buchman and Jae Kwon.
The Cosmos network consists of a Proof of Stake blockchain mainnet and specialized Blockchains known as Zones. Cosmos Hub, the main chain, enables the transfer of assets and data between connected Zones and provides a common layer of security.
All of these components work together using Tendermint, Cosmos' proprietary consensus mechanism, and a generic application interface. Fees on the Cosmos network can be paid with ATOM, its native cryptocurrency.
According to the official announcement, the listing program started today and deposits and withdrawals are now available. Trading will begin on November 17, 2023.
As we reported as Bitcoinsistemi.com, most altcoins in the Cosmos ecosystem have experienced remarkable rises recently.
ATOM, the main cryptocurrency of the ecosystem, could not accompany these increases. Altcoins such as TIA and SUI are known as Cosmos ecosystem elements.
