The SEC's lawsuit against leading cryptocurrency exchanges Binance and Coinbase this week is still on the agenda.
The SEC stated that some of the altcoins it has named in its lawsuits are securities.
These included popular altcoins Cardano (ADA), Solana (SOL), Filecoin (FIL), and Polygon (MATIC).
After these lawsuits by the SEC, Binance US announced that some trading pairs for some altcoins were delisted.
After Binance U.S, another delist news came from the cryptocurrency exchange Robinhood.
Robinhood announced in a statement that they will end support for Cardano (ADA), Polygon (MATIC) and Solana (SOL), which the SEC describes as securities.
“We regularly review the cryptocurrencies we offer on Robinhood.
Based on our most recent review, we've decided to end support for Cardano (ADA), Polygon (MATIC), and Solana (SOL) on June 27, 2023 at 6:59 PM ET.
You can continue to buy, sell, and hold ADA, MATIC, and SOL until June 27, 2023 at 6:59 PM ET. You can transfer ADA, MATIC and SOL until 27 June 2023.
After the deadline, all ADA, MATIC and SOL in your Robinhood Crypto account will be sold at market value and the proceeds will be credited to your account.
No other currencies other than ADA, MATIC, SOL will be affected by this delist decision and your crypto will remain safe at Robinhood."
