The move comes almost a year after the exchange announced its plans to settle in the Emirate, following the principle approval it received to move its global headquarters to the city.
The new office is expected to serve as a key hub for the company's expansion into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Ben Zhou, CEO of Bybit, stated that the exchange is committed to establishing a strong presence in the region and that the new headquarters will help the company better serve its growing customer base in the region.
The Dubai office will be led by Bybit's Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Managing Director Elias Audi, who will lead the team responsible for driving the company's growth in the region.
The exchange also plans to recruit additional staff to support its operations in the region in the coming months.
Bybit is one of the fastest growing crypto exchanges in the world with a strong focus on derivatives trading.
The exchange currently offers trading of various cryptocurrency derivatives, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP futures, as well as perpetual swaps.
The company has been growing rapidly in recent years, with a growing user base and a host of new products and features added to its platform.
With the opening of its new global headquarters in Dubai, Bybit is poised to continue expanding into new markets and cementing its position as one of the leading players in the cryptocurrency exchange space.
