Franklin Templeton Digital Assets first wrote that he expects a bright outlook for cryptocurrencies in 2025.
Franklin analysts noted that by 2025, cryptocurrencies will see significant advances shaped by regulatory clarity, institutional adoption, and technological evolution.
According to the report, analysts listed their expectations as follows:
- “We believe that in 2025, U.S. regulators such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will approve more diversified crypto-related financial or investment products, such as more crypto ETFs or tokenized security products.
- Favorable regulations will allow the United States to reestablish itself as a global hub for crypto innovation.
- We will see large TradFi companies enter the crypto space.
- A stablecoin regulatory framework is expected in the US. This will open the doors for large financial institutions to issue their own stablecoins.
- Bitcoin will solidify its position as a global financial asset that acts as a digital store of value, accelerated by sovereign and institutional adoption.
- We expect strategic BTC reserves to be added by several countries.
- We will see the convergence of AI and cryptocurrencies accelerate, with blockchains providing transparency and verification that will be crucial to expanding the AI-driven economy.”
