Conflux's (CFX) TreeGraph public blockchain announced version 3.0 at a technology and ecosystem development conference in Shanghai. The new version is scheduled to be integrated into the mainnet in August.
According to the statement, TreeGraph 3.0 makes a significant technical leap forward by reaching a capacity of 15,000 transactions per second (TPS), while also natively supporting artificial intelligence (AI) agent calls and on-chain payments of real-world assets (RWA).
The conference theme was “Technology builds trust, openness embraces the world,” and experts and academics from China, the US, and Canada discussed the future of blockchain technology and Web3.0. The unveiled TreeGraph 3.0 aims to provide a more robust Web3 infrastructure for both local and global developers.
Conflux TreeGraph was developed by a Chinese research team based at Tsinghua University. The team abandoned the traditional “block chaining” approach and instead developed a high-performance consensus algorithm based on a tree-graph structure. The TreeGraph mainnet was launched in Shanghai and has been operating stably for approximately five years.
According to the press release, TreeGraph's network has processed 170 million transactions to date and reached over 25 million users worldwide. The peak node count reached 5,000, operating in over 40 countries across five continents. TreeGraph has also established cross-chain bridges with several major public blockchains, creating an ecosystem that addresses all Web3 segments, including DeFi, RWA, metaverse, social media, gaming, and SaaS.
Market activity is also noteworthy. The CFX price is trading at $0.1454, up 40% in the last 24 hours.
