The SEC, which was defeated in the lawsuit filed by the company regarding Grayscale's rejection of its spot Bitcoin ETF application, made its first statement about the outcome of the lawsuit.
A spokesperson for the SEC used the following statements in its statement:
“The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is reviewing the court's decision on the Grayscale Bitcoin ETF to determine its next steps.”
After the news that Grayscale was victorious from the lawsuit, a sudden upward wave started in the crypto money market and the entire crypto money market value rose by more than 4%. This shows that more than $ 40 billion has been entered into the crypto money market after the decision.
In addition, over $80 million in cryptocurrencies were liquidated, the vast majority of which were in short positions. Bitcoin made up the majority of them with $30 million.
