English football club Real Bedford FC, known for its support for Bitcoin, has recently increased its Bitcoin holdings by making additional purchases.
Real Bedford President Peter McCormack, a Bitcoin supporter, announced that his club purchased an additional 66.9 BTC worth $4,500,420.69, an average of $67,220 per Bitcoin.
McCormack stated that with the latest purchase, the club's holdings increased to 82.7 BTC, and these BTCs were purchased for ~$5.37 million at an average price of $64,925.
McCormack added that 15.8 BTC was in circulation for football-related matters, while the rest was kept in the treasury.

In April this year, the Winklevoss brothers, owners of the Gemini stock exchange, bought the shares of the English football club by investing $ 4.5 million in Bitcoin, thus becoming co-owners of the club together with Peter McCormack.
