Unified Layer 3 project zkLink recently announced its Token Generation Event (TGE) and made its debut on leading cryptocurrency exchanges such as Bybit. This news comes on the heels of OKX Ventures' announcement of a partnership with zkLink last week.
zkLink had launched zkEVM Rollup zkLink Nova, a platform that brings together assets from Ethereum and Layer 2, providing interoperable transactions while receiving security from Ethereum. The project has received significant interest and investment from industry giants including Coinbase Ventures, Solana Ventures, Arrington Capital and more.
However, the journey was not entirely smooth. Shortly after its listing, the ZKL token suffered a significant setback, falling by approximately 26%. At the time of this writing, it is trading at around $0.49.
zkLink is known for developing zero-knowledge blockchain solutions for the Ethereum ecosystem. Its flagship product, the Aggregated Layer 3 Rollup zkEVM network, known as zkLink Nova, enables dispersed assets on Ethereum Layer 2s to be aggregated for interoperable trade and transactions. It is secured by zero-knowledge proof technology, claims to have extremely low gas costs, delivers fast results and inherits its security from Ethereum.
