A new statement came from Ethereum (ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin, who has positively affected the market and the price of the relevant altcoin with his posts and statements.
Vitalik Buterin recently said in his X post that he has not sold any Ethereum (ETH) since 2018. Stating that he cannot sell for profit, Buterin said that he only sells to support some projects within the Ethereum ecosystem and to donate to charities.
Making additional statements to this post today, Buterin said that his statement that he has never made a sale is also valid for the layer-2 projects and other altcoins he has in his possession other than Ethereum.
“My statement that I have not sold for profit since 2018 also applies to any L2 tokens or other project tokens I hold (including those that are not yet liquid).
“All income from my altcoins will be donated. These incomes will either support projects in the ethereum ecosystem or be donated to charities.”

The Ethereum co-founder also added that he is not considering investing in L2 projects or any other token projects in the near future.
“My goal in giving money to projects is to support projects that I think are valuable, especially when other players in the crypto ecosystem may undervalue those projects.
From now on, I plan to do it solely through donations.”
