Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin praised the Polygon ecosystem and its co-founder Sandeep Nailwal for their significant contributions to the Ethereum network.

Buterin cited Polygon’s early investment in ZK-EVM (Zero-Knowledge Proof Ethereum Virtual Machine) technology, the efforts of the team led by Jordi Baylina, and the development of infrastructure solutions like AggLayer as prominent achievements.
Buterin also expressed his appreciation for Sandeep Nailwal’s contributions to the CryptoRelief project and the return of his $190 million SHIB donation, which was then transferred to an open-source pandemic-fighting initiative called Balvi.
At the end of his statement, Buterin expressed his hope that Polygon will adopt mature ZK technology in the future and bring full security guarantees to its Proof-of-Stake (PoS) chain.
While Polygon attracted attention with its scalability solutions and innovations in ZK technologies in the Ethereum ecosystem, these statements by Vitalik Buterin were evaluated as great support by the community.
