While the Dencun upgrade in Ethereum is eagerly awaited, the Ethereum Foundation announced that the date has been clarified and the upgrade will take place on March 13, 2024, 13:55 UTC.
The Ethereum foundation said in a statement that the Dencun network upgrade has been successfully activated on all test networks.

It is now set for deployment on the Ethereum mainnet and will be activated on the network on March 13, 2024 at 13:55 UTC in the period 269568.
The Dencun network upgrade, which follows last year's Shapella upgrade, includes several changes.
Most importantly, temporary data blobs will be made available with EIP-4844, also known as “protodanksharding,” which will help reduce L2 transaction fees.”
While the upcoming Dencun upgrade has a positive impact on the ETH price, analysts state that the Dencun upgrade also played an important role in ETH's recent rise.
