Starknet Foundation announced that it will distribute STRK tokens to approximately 1.3 million eligible wallets.
The statement stated that this airdrop distribution included early users of ecosystem dapps, network contributors, Ethereum creators, and open source developers from outside web3.
Sharing from account X, Starknet Foundation said, “It will distribute more than 700 million STRK to approximately 1.3 million addresses. This is a portion of the 900 million STRK allocated.”
Starknet Foundation CEO Diego Oliva made the following statements in his statement:
“STRK Token was born so that STARK-based scaling could happen in a more decentralized way.
“Token design helps Starknet be run and governed by the community, and Provisions are a powerful tool to achieve this.”
The Starknet Foundation added that today they will release the official draft of the STRK distribution so that users can understand whether it is suitable and will allow users to check whether they are suitable for distribution.
