According to Cointelegraph, Ethereum Name Service (ENS) and domain registrar GoDaddy have formed a partnership.
Accordingly, Ethereum Name Service (ENS) announced that it has reached an agreement with GoDaddy to allow its users to link their internet domains to ENS addresses for free.
While the GoDaddy-ENS partnership removes the hurdle of high gas fees that previously made it difficult for users to move their domains to ENS, Paul Nicks, head of domains at GoDaddy, said this development is a “fusion of domains and blockchain technologies” that benefits the Web2 and Web3 ecosystems.
Following this partnership news, ENS, which is listed on Binance, experienced an increase of up to 7%.
