The cryptocurrency market is talking about the arrest of Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram and also Toncoin (TON), as soon as he landed at an airport in France.
The development in question brought with it a sudden wave of decline in the price of TON, which was recently listed on Binance and is among the world's largest cryptocurrencies.
Founder and CEO of cryptocurrency market maker company DWF Labs, Andrei Grachev, announced in his statement that he offered his support to Durov by purchasing $500,000 worth of TON from the market. Grachev added that he would hold the TON coins in question until Durov was released.
The founder explained that this is not investment advice and that his action is only intended to support anti-censorship and decentralized technology.
In addition, recently, Three Arrows Capital (3AC) founder Zhu Su also reported that he purchased Toncoin at the bottom price.
Andrei Grachev's company, DWF Labs, is accused of making some speculative transactions in the cryptocurrency market, but Grachev denies these allegations.
