According to data shared by blockchain analysis firm Arkham Intelligence, a wallet linked to the US government transferred a total of 86,56794 ETH (approximately $219,000) to the Coinbase Prime platform today.

The transfers occurred in two separate transactions: one was worth just 0.00394 ETH (about $10), and the other was worth 86,564 ETH.

The source of these ETHs was identified as the wallet belonging to Chase Senecal (aka HZ), whose digital assets were seized by the state in October 2022.

Chase Senecal is known as a scammer, especially known for his phishing attacks and NFT thefts, which he carried out on social media. Using the pseudonym “HZ,” Senecal stole hundreds of thousands of dollars in digital assets through attacks targeting creators and collectors of famous NFT collections. As a result of an investigation conducted in 2022, the FBI seized Senecal’s Apple Watch, luxury watches, and crypto assets.

After Donald Trump became the US President, a practice was initiated that the US government would not sell cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin. It is not clear whether the transfer in question was a sale or not.
