Layoffs continue at Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange. At this point, Gleb Kostarev, Binance's Eastern Europe and Russia manager, announced that he left Binance in his statement on Facebook.
Gleb Kostarev said in his statement that today is his last day at Binance.
Thanking Binance CEO CZ and co-founder Yi He, Kostarev said in his statement:
“Friends, today is my last day at Binance.
I am leaving my position as Vice President responsible for Eastern Europe, CIS, Turkey, Australia and New Zealand.
I would like to express my gratitude to CZ and He Yi for the trust they gave me and all the opportunities.
I would also like to thank my former colleagues for their professionalism and familiarity with best practices in this industry. Thank you to all the local initiative teams for their hard work and amazing campaigns at the local level.
And of course, we sincerely thank all our partners and Binance users for their support. The last 5 years have been incredibly interesting and I'm glad I could contribute to the spread of cryptocurrencies and the freedom of money. New achievements and adventures lie ahead!”
Describing Cointelegraph's news about Gleb Kostarev's departure from Binance as FUD, CZ said the following in his statement:
“Some of our team members are growing into larger roles, some are outside of Binance. Some are pursuing exciting new ventures. I have even given introductions/references to many of them. We are everyone's support. We are one community.
This also creates more growth opportunities for Binance and the meantime.
Ignore FUD, keep building!”
