In the news on the news portal Semafor yesterday, it was mentioned that the US Department of Justice wanted to file a fraud charge against Binance, but refrained from making such an accusation in order to protect consumers.
The founder and CEO of the crypto exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), shared “4”, which means FUD, a few hours before the news emerged.
After Semafor shared the aforementioned news, there was a sudden decline in BTC price and below $29,000. BTC price is trading at $ 29,127 at the time of this writing.
However, as we mentioned yesterday as Bitcoinsistemi.com, Semafor turned out to be a news portal funded by FTX while FTX was still operating.
Elon Musk, in his post after the FTX collapse in November 2022, said that the owner of Semaphore was FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried and stated that he had a conflict of interest while preparing the news of the company.
Following Semafor's news yesterday, this time targeting Binance, CZ retweeted Elon Musk's tweet, which he said was the owner of Semaphore at that time, Sam Bankman-Fried.
Semafor is owned by SBF. This is a massive conflict of interest in your reporting. Journalistic integrity is 🗑️. pic.twitter.com/1AB6KReJUj

With this move, CZ hints that yesterday's claims were actually funded by FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried.
