According to the information on the CMB official website, Coinbase was temporarily included in the “list of those operating” to operate in Turkey.
In recent years, there have been claims that Coinbase would purchase BtcTurk, Turkey's largest cryptocurrency exchange. A sale figure of $3.2 billion was put forward.
However, there has been no new development regarding this sale since then.
The CMB recently made it a requirement for foreign cryptocurrency exchanges to register with the CMB in order to operate in Turkey.
