Coinbase Announces That It Will List The Altcoin It Added To Its Listing Roadmap Yesterday

According to breaking information, Coinbase announced that it will list the Bonk (BONK) altcoin, which was added to the listing roadmap yesterday, with the experimental label.

Bonk (BONK) is known as a memecoin launched on the Solana blockchain. Like many other memecoins, it was inspired by Shiba Inu dogs and was launched to address the shortage of memecoins on Solana.

50% of the maximum token supply, set at 100 trillion, was sent as airdrop to Solana network users.

BONK, which was very popular for a while, became a lifeline for the Solana network, which had declined considerably after the FTX collapse, and was adopted by the SOL community.

Cryptocurrencies added to the Coinbase listing roadmap typically remain on that list for a significant period of time and are not listed immediately. However, this was not the case for BONK. The altcoin, which was added to the listing road map around 04:00 at night, received approval for listing on the stock exchange today.

The token will be listed on Coinbase tomorrow at 20 pm Turkey time (UTC+3). The altcoin is not yet listed on Coinbase, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange.
