Yi Lihua, the founder of cryptocurrency company Liquid Capital (formerly LD Capital), pointed out in a social media post that trends, rather than speculation, are the determining factor in the markets.
Yi stated, “Why do investors respect figures like Warren Buffett and Duan Yongping? Because they make money from value and trends, not speculation.”
According to Yi Lihua, the main trend in the market at the beginning of 2026 clearly points to a bull market. Stating that factors such as macroeconomic conditions or the stage of the sector are not under the control of investors, Yi said, “The only thing we can do is see the trend and act accordingly.”
Yi noted that some investors are still insisting on holding short positions, warning that this carries serious risks. He claimed that short investors who closed their positions early before a major bull market experienced limited losses, but those who waited too long “started with small losses but suffered large and devastating losses.”
Criticizing those who still expect a decline in the market, Yi Lihua argued that they are just talking. He stated that the volatility that has lasted for about a month is a struggle between bulls and bears, and that the bulls will ultimately prevail. Yi Lihua concluded, “Pessimists are often right, but those who drive progress are always optimists.”
