BREAKING: US Moves $2 Billion BTC from Seized Silk Road Bitcoins

According to breaking information, the US government has moved $2 billion worth of Silk Road Bitcoins that it confiscated years ago.

The transfer in question was also observed in the data of the cryptocurrency tracking platform Arkham. According to the latest information, the US government still has 179,155 BTC worth $12.14 billion.

The US's movement of the assets in question came after Donald Trump, who is seen as the leading presidential candidate in the country, announced that he would not sell any BTC if he was elected president. However, it is not known whether US officials made the transfer in question for sales purposes. Authorities had previously sold a large amount of Bitcoin through Coinbase.
