Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase announced that it will list rival exchange Binance's altcoin BNB on the futures market.
BNB, the world's fifth largest altcoin, has a massive market value of $90 billion at the time of writing.
The coin serves as the primary altcoin on the layer 1 blockchain BNB Chain, and gas fees are paid in BNB. In addition, cryptocurrency exchange Binance charges a discount on commission fees for its users who hold BNB, and BNB holders also receive the largest share of Launchpool events.
BNB, which is not listed on Coinbase's spot market, has gained approximately 12% in value over the past year.
