Speaking after the summary decision in the case between Ripple and the SEC came in favor of Ripple, SEC chairman Gary Gensler said:
“While we were disappointed by what the judge said about individual investors, we are still examining and evaluating this matter.”
Gensler also went on to say that, regarding the false news that he resigned earlier this month, which was partly generated by artificial intelligence, his communications director reached out to him and asked if the rumor was true.
Gary Gensler added that they will continue to push crypto companies to comply with the legislation.
