BREAKING: SEC Approves Options for BlackRock’s Bitcoin spot ETF

According to breaking news, the SEC has approved options for the BlackRock Spot ETF.

According to a notice issued Friday, the SEC approved the proposal “on an expedited basis,” allowing Nasdaq ISE, LLC to list and trade these options.

“The Commission is issuing this notice to solicit comments from interested persons on Amendments 4 and 5 and is approving the proposed rule change, as amended by Amendments 1, 4, and 5, on an expedited basis,” the SEC said in a statement.

“8+ months after spot Bitcoin ETFs launched, options trading is now approved. Better late than never,” ETF Store President Nate Geraci said in a statement, reacting to the news on X (formerly Twitter).
