BREAKING: SEC Approves Options for BlackRock’s Bitcoin spot ETF

According to breaking news, the SEC has approved options for the BlackRock Spot ETF.

According to a notice issued Friday, the SEC approved the proposal β€œon an expedited basis,” allowing Nasdaq ISE, LLC to list and trade these options.

β€œThe Commission is issuing this notice to solicit comments from interested persons on Amendments 4 and 5 and is approving the proposed rule change, as amended by Amendments 1, 4, and 5, on an expedited basis,” the SEC said in a statement.

β€œ8+ months after spot Bitcoin ETFs launched, options trading is now approved. Better late than never,” ETF Store President Nate Geraci said in a statement, reacting to the news on X (formerly Twitter).
