Senator Elizabeth Warren has launched an investigation into Kevin Warsh, Trump’s nominee for the Federal Reserve nomination, over the Epstein files.
Senator Elizabeth Warren, the top-ranking Democratic member of the US Senate Banking Committee, has demanded that Kevin Warsh, President Donald Trump’s nominee for Federal Reserve chairman, clarify his possible ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
In his letter to Warsh, Warren requested a detailed explanation following the appearance of Warsh’s name in the Epstein documents, which were made public earlier this year.
In the letter, Warren noted that Warsh’s name appeared in correspondence between Epstein employees, relating to a vacation event held on the Caribbean island of St. Barthélemy in 2010. Warren stated, “It is unclear to what extent you interacted with Epstein in connection with the invitation mentioned in this email correspondence.”
