In June, Trump signaled a significant shift in his stance on the crypto industry by advocating for all remaining Bitcoin to be mined in the United States. This change is notable considering his previous critical statements. In 2019, Trump stated that he was “not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money and are highly volatile in value and not based on anything.”
