Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the USA, stated in its statement that it will list Neon EVM (NEON).
According to the statement made by Coinbase, NEON will be supported on the Solana network. According to the statement, trading for the altcoin will be opened on April 30, 2024, at around 19:00 Turkey time (UTC+3) if liquidity conditions are met.
NEON, which is listed on major central exchanges such as Bybit and Kucoin, is not yet listed on Binance. However, the token has a small market value of $73 million.
The price of the altcoin, which was around $1.06 before Coinbase's listing announcement, climbed to around $1.26, a climb of approximately 18%.
NEON describes itself as a smart contract on Solana and according to its official website, it adds:
“Neon EVM is an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) that enables developers to seamlessly build and deploy dApps from EVM chains to Solana using their existing codebase.”
