According to breaking news, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has added CoW Protocol (COW) to its listing roadmap.
Interestingly, COW only has a market cap of around $20 million and is not listed on any centralized cryptocurrency exchanges, so the decision was met with surprise by the crypto community.
In fact, COW, a DEX token on Ethereum, ranks far behind among the world's largest cryptocurrencies.
Only 9% of the altcoin’s $1 billion maximum supply is in circulation, which explains its low market cap. On the other hand, the fully diluted market cap of the token is around $267 million.
Although Coinbase says that there is no guarantee that the altcoins it adds to its listing roadmap will be listed, all altcoins that have entered this list so far have eventually been listed on the spot market.
