BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes, who stands out with his statements and predictions about Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins, has put a new altcoin on his radar.
Hayes, who shared a post about the Solana (SOL)-based memecoin called WORM from his X account, made a bold prediction by stating that the price could experience a big increase.
While Hayes attracted the attention of memecoin investors with this post, the Deep Worm price increased by more than 100%.
Hayes described WORM as a narrative-driven DeSci (Decentralized Science) project of “dubious” utility.
As the price rose after Hayes’ WORM post, experts said that investors are shifting their focus to the memecoin called WORM and expect the rally to continue. Experts noted that posts and endorsements from popular figures like Arthur Hayes are important in the crypto space and generally positively affect market sentiment.
Hayes previously supported another Solana-based memecoin, Goatseus Maximus, after which the GOAT price saw a strong increase. In this context, Hayes said that they expect the WORM share to attract investor interest and the price to continue to rise.
