While Mt.Gox refunds have continued to be a question mark for the Bitcoin price since it began in early July, Reddit Mt. A vote was held on the Gox forum.
Chinese cryptocurrency journalist Wu Blockchain stated in his post that 467 members have participated in the voting so far.
Among participating Mt.Gox creditors, 260 people chose not to sell their BTC after receiving their refund, the highest rate at 55%.
Among the creditors, 88 people chose to sell all the Bitcoins they received, ranking second among the voting options with 18%.
Among the creditors, 68 people chose to sell between 1% and 25% of their BTC, while 26 people chose to sell between 25% and 50% of their BTC.
While the survey results indicate that more than half of the refunded BTCs will not be sold, analysts are also divided on this issue. While some analysts think that Mt.Gox refunds have already been priced in and that piecemeal payments will not affect the BTC price, others think that refunds will continue to negatively affect the price. Some people also believe that creditors will not sell their Bitcoins because they get them back after a long time and that it will not have a negative impact on the price.
