Bitcoin Offer from the US Commander to the Ministry!

While the rise in Bitcoin and altcoins in the cryptocurrency market was being discussed, a BTC proposal came from a US Space Force official.

US Space Force Major Jason Lowery wrote a letter to the US Department of Defense (DoD) Innovation Council.

Drawing attention to the importance of Bitcoin in his letter, Jason Lowery argued that in addition to its importance in the financial field, BTC may also have a very important place in the fields of defense and cyber security.

At this point, Jason Lowery argued that Bitcoin and “proof-of-work (PoW)” systems should be researched in detail and adopted by the US Department of Defense as a strategic weapon against cyber attacks.

Underlining that Bitcoin is not just a monetary system, Lowery said:

“Bitcoin is often seen as a monetary system for securing funds, but BTC is much more.

Contrary to popular belief, few people argue that Bitcoin can be used to “secure any type of data.”

However, BTC and PoW systems can also be used by the US Department of Defense in defense and protection against cyber attacks.”

Finally, in his letter, Lowery also pointed out that a PoW system such as Bitcoin could help deter adversaries from cyber attacks due to high costs.

Lowery's Bitcoin offer also caught the attention of BTC supporter Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood.

Cathie Wood stated in her post that the Ministry of Defense's adoption of Bitcoin as a strategy is of great importance in the field of cyber warfare and defense.
