Coinbase (COIN) announced the launch of a new app designed to simplify the management of on-chain wallets and activities for users.
Coinbase Introduces Web App to Track Personal Onchain Wallets
This move is seen as part of the company's ongoing efforts to increase accessibility and user experience, especially for new entrants to the cryptocurrency space.
The new app, available on both desktop and mobile devices, allows users to connect multiple wallets and perform various functions such as buying, swapping, sending, staking and minting coins. Additionally, the app facilitates interaction between users.
“Today, many people use manual spreadsheets and need to open multiple browser tabs to track their assets holistically,” Coinbase said in a statement.
“Many people manage several crypto wallets at the same time, and until now it has been a challenge to get a comprehensive view of all their assets in one place,” he said.
The app will also be compatible with smart wallets, making it easier for users to manage their crypto assets seamlessly.
This feature is in line with similar products launched by other wallet providers such as Exodus as the industry tries to attract less tech-savvy investors.
Cold or decentralized wallets can often be difficult to navigate, and this app aims to solve this problem.
For Coinbase, the introduction of this app is an important step towards its long-term goal of becoming a “super app” similar to China's popular WeChat.
This latest development underscores Coinbase's commitment to improving the overall user experience in the cryptocurrency market and making it easier for both new and existing users to manage their digital assets efficiently.
