Coinbase has announced a significant upgrade to its Solana infrastructure, bringing major improvements to transaction processing speed, network performance, and overall system resilience.
Coinbase Strengthens Solana Infrastructure with Major Performance Upgrade
According to the platform, the upgrade has increased block processing throughput by five times through the implementation of asynchronous transaction processing, a move designed to increase the efficiency of Solana-based transactions on Coinbase.
Additionally, the exchange reported a fourfold increase in Remote Procedure Call (RPC) performance by deploying bare-metal servers that provide dedicated hardware resources for high-demand transactions.
To further strengthen platform reliability, Coinbase has also introduced advanced failover mechanisms and liquidity optimization strategies that aim to minimize downtime and provide smoother user experiences during periods of network stress or high trading volume.
