Binance, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced that it is fully supporting the upcoming network upgrade and Hard Fork of the Polygon (MATIC) network.
Network upgrade and Hard Fork are scheduled to occur at Polygon block height 44,934,656 at around 07:00 on July 11, 2023.
To ensure a smooth transition, Binance will temporarily suspend MATIC deposits and withdrawals from approximately 6:30 am on July 11, 2023.
However, Binance users can rest assured that trading MATIC on the platform will not be affected during the network upgrade and Hard Fork. They will be able to continue trading MATIC without any interruptions.
It is important to note that Binance users do not need to take any additional action or meet technical requirements regarding the network upgrade and Hard Fork.
The Binance team will handle all necessary technical issues on behalf of users holding MATIC in their Binance account.
Network upgrade and Hard Fork of Polygon (MATIC) will not result in the generation of new tokens. The primary purpose of this upgrade is to improve the performance and capabilities of the Polygon network.
Binance will reopen deposits and withdrawals for MATIC once it determines that the upgraded network is stable.
However, users should regularly check the Binance platform for updates on the availability of MATIC deposits and withdrawals, as a separate announcement may not be posted.
Binance is committed to providing its users with a safe and reliable trading experience. By supporting Polygon's (MATIC) network upgrade and Hard Fork, the exchange aims to ensure that users can continue trading MATIC smoothly and without any glitches.
