Binance, the leading global cryptocurrency exchange, announced support for the upcoming network upgrade of MultiversX (EGLD), which aims to provide an optimized user experience in the ecosystem.
Binance will temporarily suspend token deposits and withdrawals on the MultiversX (EGLD) network in preparation for the network upgrade, which will begin at approximately 18:05 on February 13, 2024. The upgrade is scheduled to take place around 19:05 on the same day.
Impact on Trading:
Despite the suspension of deposits and withdrawals, token trading on the MultiversX (EGLD) network will not be affected during the upgrade.
Technical Support by Binance:
Binance will manage all technical requirements regarding the network upgrade and ensure a smooth transition for all users on the platform.
Resumption of Deposit and Withdrawal Transactions:
Upon successful completion of the network upgrade and stabilization of the upgraded networks, deposits and withdrawals for tokens on the MultiversX (EGLD) network will be reopened immediately.
Users will be able to resume normal transaction activities once the upgraded network is deemed stable.
