Binance, one of the world's leading cryptocurrency exchanges, announced support for the upcoming network upgrade of IRISnet (IRIS).
Binance Announces IRISnet (IRIS) Network Upgrade Support
To facilitate the smooth implementation of this upgrade, Binance will temporarily suspend token deposits and withdrawals on the IRISnet (IRIS) network.
The suspension is scheduled to begin at approximately 08-01-2024 07:30. The network upgrade itself will occur at block height 23,170,081, starting at approximately 08-01-2024 08:30.
It is important to note that token trading on the IRISnet (IRIS) network will not be affected by this temporary suspension. Users can continue trading during and after the upgrade process.
As part of its commitment to providing a seamless user experience, Binance will manage all technical requirements related to the upgrade.
The suspension of deposits and withdrawals is a precautionary measure during the upgrade period and these services will be restored once the upgraded network is deemed stable.
There will be no further announcements regarding the upgrade process, indicating Binance's confidence in a smooth transition to the enhanced version of the IRISnet (IRIS) network.
