Binance has announced support for the upcoming network upgrades and hard forks for Cosmos (ATOM) and Kadena (KDA), aiming to provide a seamless experience for users.
Binance Will Support Upcoming Cosmos (ATOM) and Kadena (KDA) Network Upgrades and Hard Forks
The Cosmos (ATOM) upgrade is scheduled to occur at block height 21,835,200. In preparation for this upgrade, Binance will be suspending deposits and withdrawals on the Cosmos network starting approximately 16:30 on 2024-08-21.
Similarly, the Kadena (KDA) network upgrade and hard fork will occur at block height 5,060,924. Binance will suspend deposits and withdrawals on the Kadena network from approximately 2024-08-22 02:00.
During the upgrades, trading of ATOM and KDA tokens will not be affected, ensuring continuous trading for users. Binance also assured its customers that it will manage all technical aspects related to the process.
Deposits and withdrawals for both networks will resume once the upgrades are confirmed to be stable, and no further announcements are planned regarding the reopening of these services.
