Binance has announced it will support the planned network upgrade on the Terra Classic (LUNC) network. According to the exchange’s official statement, token deposits and withdrawals on the Terra Classic network will be temporarily suspended to maintain the best user experience and ensure a smooth technical process.
The statement indicated that deposit and withdrawal transactions on the LUNC network would cease on December 18, 2025, at approximately 5:10 PM.
The network upgrade is expected to take place at block height 26,479,000, which is approximately at 6:10 PM on the same day. Binance emphasized that all technical requirements will be handled by the exchange on behalf of users during this process.
Binance officials stated that trading on the Terra Classic network will not be affected during the network upgrade and users can continue their spot trading as normal.
Deposit and withdrawal operations will automatically be reopened once the network is confirmed to be stable after the upgrade is complete. It was also specifically noted that no further announcements will be made regarding this.
The Terra Classic network continues to be developed in a community-focused manner following a major outage in the past. This upgrade aims to improve network performance, provide technical enhancements, and strengthen the long-term sustainability of the ecosystem.
Binance recommends that users complete their deposit and withdrawal transactions in a timely manner before the upgrade to avoid being affected by potential disruptions. They also warn users to follow official announcements and only consider information from verified sources.
