Binance has announced that it conducts regular reviews to ensure its crypto assets consistently comply with high standards.
In this context, it may choose to exclude coins and tokens that do not meet certain conditions or cannot keep up with changes in the industry.
Binance Announces: SNM, SRM, and YFII Delisted on 22-08-2023
Made in line with its commitment to ensure the security and best experience of its users, these decisions reflect Binance's goal of protecting its users at the highest level.
Binance announced that it takes various factors into account when making these reviews.
These factors include project team commitment, quality and level of development activities, transaction volume and liquidity, security and stability of the network, public communications, response to requests, unethical behavior and contribution to a healthy ecosystem.
Accordingly, as a result of recent reviews, Binance has decided to delist and cease trading the following tokens as of 06:00 on 2023-08-22:
- SONM (SNM)
- Serum (SRM)
- DFI.Money (YFII)
All trading orders related to these tokens will be automatically removed after the expiry of the trades on the respective trading pairs.
It is also important to note that these tokens will not be deposited into Binance accounts after 2023-08-23.
After 2023-11-22, it will not be possible to withdraw these tokens from Binance accounts.
Binance announced that the delisted tokens will be converted into stablecoins on behalf of users and the revenue will be deposited into users' accounts. It was stated that before this conversion process, users will be informed separately.
